How goes it Stackwell Society members? First off, our deepest apologies for the delay of new Stackwell product. We entered the Fall/Winter 2009 battlefield with absolutely no artillery, but now it’s TWENTY10 and Spring is peeking its head just around the corner which means breeze, feets, and tees. We will be re-releasing 3 out of 5 designs from our Intro Line and adding on 5 new designs for Drop 1 of TWENTY10. Are you ready? Here is your sneak peek:
So what if our first trip of TWENTY10 was only a 30 minute airplane ride away? Still our first trip. The objective was to attend a fabric show which actually turned out to be a fail. We still made something out of nothing and enjoyed ourselves. From busting illegal u-turns with 1 of our drivers to eating at a noodle house that hooked us up with a complimentary tapioca drink. Thank you Mango’s! Thinking about returning and attending the NBA all star fiasco this weekend…Hmmm….

Back in ‘98, two brothers shared the same vision and dream of integrating culture into their music and entertainment, thus creating Kracker Nuttz basing out of the H, aka Houston. Anyways, this was a one time special event celebrating the prequel of “The Niceguys” debut album. It was a multicultural event where high fashion, music, and art came together to party and support Houston’s new generation of independents on the forefront.

Recently the Pacific Islands have fell victim to multiple deadly typhoons, storms, and other forms of natural disasters. The Houston community has been showing love and support in aiding in the relief of these recent disasters in forms of fundraiser events. Stackwell supported, donated, and attended these events. Adobo Hoedown was a cook off contest to prize the winner of the best tasting and put together Filipino traditional dish, Adobo. Just like any other Houston event, it was a great turnout. Good food, good peoples, and good times. MARAMING SALAMAT, which translates to MANY THANKS!
We, Stackwell, are working on a collaboration project with Sucker Punch, a well renowned Houston based boutique that supports and also carries the Stackwell brand. The end product of the collab will consist of a t-shirt design showcasing both parties involved in the professional boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, going down November 14, 2009. Stay tuned in. We will present the shirt in the next upcoming weeks and are working out details for possible PREPAID orders. **The date of the release in the video has not been written on stone just yet.
